Konstantinos Papakonstantinou

Konstantinos Papakonstantinou is the Head of Purchasing MIDI at Boehringer Ingelheim. He is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for sourcing direct materials, machinery and equipment, and logistics across the MIDI cluster of countries. 

Konstantinos began his career in environmental engineering and has since accumulated more than 25 years of experience working with multinational companies in the consumer goods sector at Unilever and the pharmaceuticals sector at Boehringer Ingelheim. His expertise spans R&D, project management, supply chain, and sourcing. He is currently playing a key role in advancing the sourcing transformation initiative at Boehringer Ingelheim Ellas. 

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from NTUA, an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Imperial College, and an MBA from Kingston University. Additionally, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
